HEP 10, $127,819 per annum plus 17% employer superannuation contribution. This is a full time (36.75 hours per week) ongoing appointment.
About the role
Working closely with our Portfolio and Program Management teams within the ITS PMO, you will lead, manage and provide expert advice across our portfolio of initiatives to enhance and support the University’s innovative use of technology. In addition to your Governance expertise, you will have experience in guiding and influencing stakeholder relationships, working with project governance frameworks across entire project lifecycles – and thrive in an agile, delivery-focused environment.
The overall purpose of the Senior Manager, Portfolio Governance & Change is to provide strategic governance and change leadership across a complex multi-million-dollar program of work that delivers substantial and whole-of-University business value. You will provide high level specialist advice and recommendations to the Director PMO and leadership team to develop, review and implement continuous improvement strategies, policies, processes, and systems to embed in governance frameworks.
Managing a team of Portfolio Analysts (specialising in finance, benefits and change management) and Communication Specialists, you will have responsibility for leading communication and engagement activities with key stakeholders and in addition, will manage the delivery of governance and change management initiatives.

The preferred candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a PMO Governance role with in-depth knowledge of Change Management and Benefits practices.
