Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Architecture, you thrive in thinking outside of the box, are in tune with the latest collaboration, productivity, and platform engineering trends, and are cloud-savvy with a strong connection to industry best practices such as CNCF and Cloud Adoption Frameworks. You will develop technological strategies and execution plans that create differentiated value through fostering strong relationships with cross-functional teams. You will interlock across business and organizational boundaries to develop world-class technological ecosystems.

The Senior Manager, Enterprise Architecture – Cloud Platforms & Adoption, is a senior leadership role responsible for the strategic and technical direction of our cloud and infrastructure architecture. This visionary leader will drive digital transformation, optimize infrastructure, and ensure seamless integration across diverse cloud environments, including public, private, and on-premises clouds. By leading the architecture, design, and implementation of cloud infrastructure and services within the organization, you will enhance agility, optimize costs, and accelerate innovation through cloud adoption. Additionally, you will lead a team of architects and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence, and align these efforts with the organization’s vision of transitioning from a Telco to a TechCo.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership:

o Develop and execute cloud and infrastructure strategies that align with the company’s vision of transitioning from a telco to a techco.

o Lead the architecture and design of scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions.

o Create and maintain comprehensive cloud and infrastructure architecture frameworks and standards.

• Team Leadership:

o Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of architects and engineers.

o Foster a collaborative and innovative environment, encouraging continuous learning and improvement.

o Ensure alignment of team objectives with business goals and strategic initiatives.

• Cloud & Infrastructure Management:

o Oversee the implementation of cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and cost-efficiency.

o Develop abstraction layers to simplify and unify the management of diverse cloud resources.

o Implement advanced security measures adhering to Zero Trust principles.

• Integration & Collaboration:

o Achieve seamless integration and consistent management across multiple cloud environments (public, private, and on-premises clouds).

o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align cloud initiatives with business objectives.

o Communicate cloud strategies, progress, and outcomes to senior leadership and stakeholders.

• Observability & Automation:

o Establish effective monitoring and observability practices to ensure proactive management of cloud performance and health.

o Streamline onboarding processes and automate deployments to enhance the cloud experience for users.

Critical Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in cloud architecture, IT services, or related disciplines, with at least 4 years of leadership experience.

• Proven track record in developing and implementing technological strategies (ideally cloud) in a large-scale enterprise setting.

• Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and related technologies.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team towards achieving strategic goals.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of effectively engaging with all levels of the organization, from teams to executives.

• Strategic mindset with strong technical, business, and financial acumen, including the ability to help shape cloud business cases.

• Well-connected within the global cloud ecosystem, staying informed on industry trends and best practices.

• Passion for learning, innovation, and driving continuous improvement.

• Experience in the telecommunications industry is desirable.

• Bilingualism (French & English) is preferred.
