Your missionSummary:Pierre Fabre USA is seeking a skilled and experienced 3PL Manager to oversee all activities related to our third-party logistics (3PL) providers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing relationships with our 3PL partner, optimizing logistics operations, and ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of goods to our customers. Additionally, this role will be responsible for optimizing costs and exploring savings opportunities as it pertains to warehousing and distribution activities.Essential Functions:3PL Partnership Management:Serve as the primary point of contact for all 3PL providers, fostering strong and collaborative relationshipsNegotiate contracts and service agreements with 3PL partners, ensuring terms are favorable and aligned with company objectivesConduct regular performance reviews and evaluations of 3PL providers to ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and quality standardsOperational Oversight:Coordinate all logistics activities with 3PL partners, including transportation, warehousing (to include kitting), and distributionMonitor and track shipments, inventory levels, and order fulfillment to ensure smooth and efficient operationsImplement process improvements and optimization strategies to enhance the efficiency and reliability of logistics operationsPrepare and initiate an RFP within the first couple of months of starting in the roleQuality Control and Compliance:Establish and enforce quality control measures and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain the integrity of the supply chainEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, including safety regulations and customs proceduresConduct regular audits and inspections of 3PL facilities to identify and address any compliance issues or quality concernsPerformance Monitoring and Reporting:Constantly review Cost-to-Serve (C2S) with the intent of developing cost savings measures without sacrificing quality of serviceDevelop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the performance of 3PL partners and track progress against goalsGenerate regular reports and analysis on logistics performance, identifying trends, issues, and opportunities for improvementProvide insights and recommendations to senior management based on data-driven analysis of 3PL operationsCross-Functional Collaboration:Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders such as procurement, inventory management, and customer service to ensure alignment and coordination across the supply chainParticipate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to drive continuous improvement and innovation in logistics operationsCompetencies:High reactivity, responsiveness, excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritizeUnderstanding of and proficiency in EDI transmissions to and from 3PLAttention to project detail and development of plans to drive customer satisfactionKPI driven mindsetAbility to think strategically and lead internal and external teamsAdvanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skillsStrong oral and written communication skills, and interpersonal and team-oriented capabilities

Required Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s Level Degree a plus)Proven experience in logistics management, with specific experience in managing relationships with 3PL providersKnowledge of National Account compliance requirements a must (Target, Amazon, Ulta, CVS, Walgreens – or similar accounts)Strong understanding of logistics processes and best practices, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory managementExcellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with external partnersAnalytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting toolsStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressureKnowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in logistics and supply chain managementProficiency in ERP and Excel is required. MS Dynamics experience is a plusMUST have experience in running an RFP process with vendorsWork Environment / physical demands / position type and expected hours of work:This job operates in a clerical, office setting with weekly on-site meetings at the warehouse.
