Senior Lecturer in Social Work: Adults

We are recruiting to a Senior Lecturer post in Social Work and Social Care as the result of promotion and retirement. This is an exciting opportunity to come and be part of our growth, development and contribute to the enhancement of our courses.  

You will be in particular have experience as a Social Worker working with Adults, as you will be expected to teach across our Social Work Programmes You must be a qualified and registered social worker. You will be keen to impart your knowledge, love of excellence and inclusive practice to students. You will undertake the role of Senior Lecturer and contribute to teaching social work with adults. You will also contribute expertise across our range of courses in the School of Society and Community particularly but not exclusively as they relate to older adults, learning disabilities, mental health and social work. Recent relevant experience would be an advantage.  

This is an exciting time to join the School of Society and Community at the University of Wolverhampton and you will be part of a diverse, dynamic team. You will be keen to work closely with our external partner agencies and play a role in developing our provision.

We have a growing doctoral community with funded studentships so we very much welcome research active academics committed to doctoral supervision, contributing to research and ethics activity within the School and able and willing to seek research funding. We welcome applicants with a PhD or very close to completion.

Knowledge and research practice in the area of digital technologies and social work and care, simulation and/or digital solutions is also most welcome.
