The Role

• Fixed Term (up to 2 years), Full Time
• Level 7 – $91,305 to $99,766 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
• Bathurst, Dubbo, Orange, Wagga Wagga (other locations may be considered)

As the Senior ICT Security Officer, you will use your previous experience in a similar role to provide advice and expertise in IT security audits, assessments, testing and analysis, as well as providing technical guidance and capability on security design and configuration. 

You will also be responsible for implementing cyber security and risk management standards, policies and practices of the University in alignment with legislation, audit and business requirements. 

To be successful you will have:

• A degree or equivalent industry certification and experience, or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through any other combination of education, training and/or experience.
• Previous experience with implementing and managing a security program for a complex organisation.
• A demonstrated service focus with high level analytical and problem-solving skills.

This position is available as a fixed term appointment or, for eligible employees, as a secondment.

To be eligible for a secondment, a staff member must have completed probation and at least one year of continuous service in their current continuing position.
