Senior Executive (Communications and Global Relations), Faculty of Dentistry
Job Description
Social Media Planning:
Strategise social media campaigns to increase awareness of Faculty’s events, programmes and initiatives.
Content creation and monitoring of Faculty’s social media platforms.
Monitor social media analytics regularly in order to propose new areas for improvement.
Publicity Materials:
Conceptualise and execute communication materials including online content, publicity collaterals and content management of Faculty’s platforms.
Serve as point of contact to assist and advise various departments on appropriate publicity materials for their programmes and initiatives.
Design, write and copyedit all materials for internal and external publicity.
Website:
Conceptualise, manage and upload content for the Faculty’s website in line with our brand and identity guidelines.
Serve as contact point to work with departments on developing and updating content on the website whenever needed.
Review website on a regular basis and propose new areas of improvements for design and content to help enhance Faculty’s branding and positioning.
Photography and Videography:
Develop Faculty photo and video bank to ensure stock photos and videos are up to date.
Work with vendors and/or take photos and videos to refresh photo and video bank for Faculty’s publicity purposes where needed.
Event Management:
Support the Faculty in the organisation of events.
And any ad hoc duties when assigned.
Qualifications
Tertiary qualifications in communications, public relations or journalism
Relevant working experience (at least 5 years with successful track record) in communications, public relations or journalism
Knowledge and experience in managing corporate websites including content creation, design and uploading and managing events (including photography and videography)
Familiar with social media
Excellent written and oral communicaton skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Able to multi-task
Keen sense of awareness to detail
Team player yet able to work independently as appropriate
