Your purposeful career begins here.SUMMARY:This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing and directing all aspects of the field medical team for Cell Therapy and pipeline. As a core member of the US Medical Leadership team, you will play a critical role in encouraging the success of the field medical team by developing and executing strategic plans, fostering collaboration across departments, and ensuring the team delivers high-quality scientific exchange between Pierre-Fabre Pharmaceuticals and the Cell Therapy community.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, establish and implement strategic plans to achieve organizational goals (qualitative & quantitative) and objectives; and routinely report and monitor progress
  • Provide direction and guidance to the field medical team, setting clear goals and expectations
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation and excellence within the team, promote a positive team environment
  • Timely, accurate and succinct communication of fair-balanced clinical and scientific presentations to disease area healthcare professionals, both proactively and in response to requests for information, consistent with promotional compliance and FDA regulatory requirements
  • Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing Field Medical Director team providing regular feedback and coaching
  • Ensure Field Medical Directors compliance with applicable Pharma Code, OIG guidelines and PFP policies
  • The SD Field Medical National Lead will have a territory where he/she will perform the FMD function, based on his/her geographic location

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Advanced scientific degree (MD, DO, PhD or PharmD) with experience in the pharmaceutical (hematologic or solid tumors, with deep knowledge of the clinical research process, treatment landscape and guidelines)
  • 5 years previous leadership/supervisory and/or MSL field operations experience
  • Thorough understanding of applicable regulatory requirements for field-based personnel and PhRMA guidelines, including geographic regulatory related guidelines
  • Demonstrated experience of catalyzing results and delivering high-quality medical support
  • Meaningful business skills/acumen; ability to translate scientific expertise and knowledge to achieve the identified business goals of the company
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to evaluate competing priorities to arrive at appropriate decisions
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve goals

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time

  • This is a field based role.
