The office

Our office in Amsterdam is located on the Zuidas: a bustling area where many companies are based. In our Cross Towers, as many as 1000 people are welcomed daily. Haven’t had breakfast yet? Then a special smoothie will be made for you or simply a delicious cappuccino. During lunchtime, the team is ready to serve you a fresh lunch. Responsibilities – How can you make a lasting impact in a rapidly changing world?

• Design and Development: Design, and implement the data & analytics platforms, ensuring it is scalable, reliable, and secure.
• Data Integration: Integrate diverse external and internal data sources (e.g. APIs, third party data providers) into the platform, ensuring data quality and consistency.
• Platform Maintenance: Monitor and maintain the data platform, optimizing performance and resolving issues promptly.
• Automation and CI/CD: Implement automation in data pipelines and deploy infrastructure as code (IaC) to support continuous integration and delivery.
• Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.

 

Job requirements – Where do you start if you want to change the world?

• Master’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar role.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform, with a strong understanding of cloud-native services.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in developing with Terraform as well as building and deploying YAML pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark or Kafka as well as ETL processes and API integration.

Pre-employment screening
