Our newly built Digital Engineering team is highly focused on Cloud, Software, Data and user experience engineering and is experiencing rapid growth within our organization. The office
Our office in Amsterdam is located on the Zuidas: a bustling area where many companies are based. In our Cross Towers, as many as 1000 people are welcomed daily. Haven’t had breakfast yet? Responsibilities – How can you make a lasting impact in a rapidly changing world?
- Design and Development: Design, and implement the data & analytics platforms, ensuring it is scalable, reliable, and secure.
- Data Integration: Integrate diverse external and internal data sources (e.g. APIs, third party data providers) into the platform, ensuring data quality and consistency.
- Platform Maintenance: Monitor and maintain the data platform, optimizing performance and resolving issues promptly.
- Automation and CI/CD: Implement automation in data pipelines and deploy infrastructure as code (IaC) to support continuous integration and delivery.
- Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
Job requirements – Where do you start if you want to change the world?
- Master’s degree in computer science or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar role.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Experience with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform, with a strong understanding of cloud-native services.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency in developing with Terraform as well as building and deploying YAML pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark or Kafka as well as ETL processes and API integration.
