America’s Critical Infrastructure has never been more central to American life, never been more digital, and never held higher consequences were it to fail. Are you a motivated cyber engineer with technical and policy knowledge, and interested in the power grid and helping to “keep the lights on”? Join us at Leidos as we work to design and deliver the next generation of cyber defenses to assure our nation’s fundamental Operational Technology systems.
As a Senior Cyber Systems Engineer, you will be expected to develop a clear understanding of the critical systems we protect in partnership with power systems engineers, develop a clear understanding of the evolving compliance framework market participants face, develop strong perspectives on risk management strategies, and lead our reduction of this theory to best practices and lab exemplars.
You will be working with cross-domain subject matter experts, cyber engineers, and next generation cyber defense technologies, all focused on Operational technologies and their application to critical infrastructure. You will perform data analysis, investigative analysis, research on existing and emerging cyber threats, and develop tools to assist with these tasks. You will be challenged to leverage your understanding of the tactics, techniques and procedures employed by advanced threats combined with intelligence from multiple sources.
You will also be working with Capture Managers to develop proposals, participate in marketing activities, conferences and collaboration with industry peers and adjacent parts of our business.
