An exciting opportunity has arisen in the School of Applied Sciences to join the administration team as a Senior Course Administrator.

You will provide support and leadership to a team of course administrators, focusing on assessment, and quality and standards processes, adhering to deadlines and applying a good knowledge of relevant regulations. High levels of accuracy and attention to detail will be required as you will also be responsible for the accurate and timely maintenance of student, curriculum and assessment records using relevant university IT systems.  

You will use your administrative skills to support administration across the student lifecycle to ensure the delivery of high-quality user-focused services including: handling enquiries; providing information and advice on University-wide services; policies and procedures; and exam board servicing.

To be successful in this post you should have:

  • Experience of delivering a broad range of customer-focused enquiry and support services
  • Experience of carrying out a range of organisational and administrative duties
  • The ability to produce written communications and documents clearly, concisely and grammatically correct
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office computer programs to a high standard
  • A strong knowledge of SITs or similar student record system
