Job SummaryHandles moderate to complex legal matters and projects in areas of traditional labor law, NLRB matters, collective bargaining and contract administration and helps implement Company strategy in those areas under the supervision of the Vice President, Labor.II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.· Act as Company representative during collective bargaining with various unions.· Provide legal advice and counsel on issues arising under the NLRA. Reviews legal publications and pending legislation and advises management of changes that impact the Company, business and industry.· Provide legal advice and counsel on the interpretation and administration of collective bargaining agreements.· Conducts risk assessment in connection with customer, vendor, operations, industry and/or business issues. Advises management on most appropriate response or action.· May be responsible for management of outside counsel activities as necessary including determining effective business and legal strategy to address litigation and/or other specific operations or Company needs.III. Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis job has no direct supervisory duties, but may occasionally act as a team lead.IV. Education and ExperienceEducation: Juris Doctorate (accredited)Experience: Six (6) years of relevant work experience (in addition to education requirement), with particular emphasis in areas of collective bargaining and matters arising under the NLRA..B. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for AIP bonus and LTIP on an annual basis.Benefits
