What you’ll be doing
As a member of the Third Party Governance Office (TPGO), the Senior Consultant, TPGO Strategy and Governance plays a critical role for developing process and strategic approaches for the third party governance function at CIBC. This includes documenting processes, procedures and quality assurance guidelines; key control design; liaison for control testing, audit or regulatory inquiries; manage deficiencies across TPGO; and lead the TPGO Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA). The role applies knowledge of project management, controls/governance expertise to deliver industry best practices in this discipline. The role exercises independent judgement to develop and implement effective practices to achieve the third part governances objectives. The role drives alignment and consensus across areas of responsibility, applying expert interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Stay Current with Best Practices. Our team constantly looks for ways to improve user experience and insights consumption, staying up to date with industry best practices in storytelling/data visualization, user experience, machine learning and big data analytics.
Who you are

You have demonstrated experience in: You have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Risk Management. It is an asset if you have strong knowledge of risks and controls and process improvement

You have a degree/diploma in: Business Management and/or a related field of study.
