More specifically, your role will comprise:
- Provide expert guidance and strategic insights to clients on the energy market in Austria as well as Eastern Europe, with a focus on renewable energy, hydrogen, energy grids, district heating, batteries, and electric vehicles (EVs).
- Deliver a wide range of consulting services, including strategy development, techno-economic modelling, due diligence, energy transition planning, decarbonization strategies, and policy design.
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their specific needs and develop tailored solutions that align with their business goals and objectives.
- Lead and actively contribute to energy projects throughout their lifecycle, from inception to completion, ensuring high-quality delivery and client satisfaction.
- Actively engage in business development activities, including identifying new project opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and expanding our client base across the region.
- Leverage your extensive network and relationships with industry players, government agencies, banks, and lenders to generate leads and drive business growth.
- Manage project teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise to junior consultants and analysts.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, regulatory frameworks, and technological advancements related to renewable energy and energy transition.
QualificationsWhat is your profile?We are looking to enlarge our multi-disciplinary team with professionals with real passion and curiosity for the energy transition. The ideal candidate will be or have experience as well as capabilities as follows:
- Experienced graduate with above-average university degree (or equivalent) within Economics, Business, Energy, Mathematics/Statistics/Econometrics or other related academic fields
- Professional work placements in Consulting, Energy, Utilities, Financing Institutions or related businesses, with 3 to 7 years of experience
- Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to effectively lead and deliver multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills to understand abstract, complex matters, with experience in utilizing modelling tools and software
- Very good command of MS Office package, in particular Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and oral communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas and concepts to clients and stakeholders.
- Professional fluency in German and English (orally and written) is a must, additional language skills advantageous, especially CSEE language knowledge would be very relevant in our business.
