Senior Clinical Researcher: Suicide Research

Applications are invited for Senior Clinical Researcher in Suicide research. This position will be held within the Department of Psychiatry, University of Oxford, leading to a permanent post upon the successful completion of a probationary period.  

You must be medically qualified and be MRCPsych or equivalent, and you should have a higher degree (PhD/DPhil or equivalent). You will show evidence of distinction in research through presentations at conferences, publications, and articles, or equivalent evidence, and have a successful track record of attracting and managing peer-reviewed research income, as well as a commitment to promoting awareness and understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion.

The post will be held in conjunction with an honorary contract with Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust and you will undertake clinical, administrative and other hospital duties as agreed by the divisional board and the NHS.

The principal duties will be to conduct international quality research in psychiatry (suicide), deliver teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, share in the administrative work of the Department, and carry out administrative duties as agreed with the Head of Department.
