Senior Clinical Research Fellow – Health Outcomes Team Lead for UK Biobank

Oxford Population Health (the Nuffield Department of Population Health) provides an excellent environment for multi-disciplinary research and teaching and for professional and support staff. We work together to answer some of the most important questions about the causes, prevention and treatment of disease.
We are seeking a Senior Clinical Research Fellow to work with UK Biobank to develop and lead a programme of work focused on enhancing the classification of health outcome data in the UK Biobank resource. You will have primary responsibility for developing and leading the scientific strategy to enhance the phenotyping of health outcomes, supervise a small team, provide clinical leadership, manage research budgets and will have opportunities to publish your own research.
To be considered, you must be GMC registered with a valid licence to practice and a member, or Fellow, of a relevant Royal College, hold a certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in a relevant medical specialty and have an honorary (non-stipendiary) contract with a relevant NHS Trust and hold a MD/PhD/DPhil in Public Health or epidemiology, or a related discipline.
This is a full time, fixed term post (part time considered) for 3 years.
