The OneAgent software is actively deployed across millions of customer environments today, monitoring critical customer applications in various programming languages and platforms. The “Core Agent” functionality is a crucial part of the Dynatrace Platform for automatic instrumentation which enables all supported platforms and languages.This role plays a key part implementing changes, improvements, and new features to our Core Agent – working primarily in C++.If you are passionate about development, high performance and understanding how things work at a low level, this is your chance for an exciting challenge in a fantastic team.Your role
- Further develop the core components of the leading Software Intelligence System, primarily written in C++
- Designing and implementing new features as well as maintaining and
- improving our huge code base
- Coordinate with Developers, Product Management and SW Architects as a
- team member of an agile development team
- Collaborate with local and international development teams
- Ensure product quality through comprehensive quality assurance measures
- (Continuous Integration and Delivery)
- Development of performance and availability monitoring solutions for various technologies (no Front-End development)
- Analyze and understand of the inner workings of common frameworks through debugging, interrogation etc.
Qualifications
- Team player and pro-active person of action
- Profound and professional C/C++ experience
- Platform and low-level system knowledge for Linux, Windows, Solaris, or AIX
- Understanding of and interest in Software Architecture and Design
- Willingness to learn on the job and eager to learn innovative technologies
- Basic understanding of cloud technologies is beneficial (containers, containerized environments, …)
- The ability to focus on details but keep the mind open for the whole ecosystem

- Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is € 56,000 gross per year based on full-time employment. We offer a higher salary in line with qualifications and experience.
