Summary
This position will be responsible for analyzing Baylor Medicine physician practice data, working on strategic comprehensive business plans that support growth of the practice, and managing the internal business process for tracking provider recruitment. Additional responsibilities include data analysis of business performed by our physicians at our Joint Venture hospital as well as coordinating with central finance to facilitate the annual and long range budget for BCM providers at our Joint venture hospital. This is a central department role that essentially supports all clinical department initiatives and directly supports the Executive Vice President and Dean of Clinical Affairs.
Job Duties
Clinical Business Development:
• Develops comprehensive business plans with supporting data analytics to drive new revenue streams.
• Supports enterprise projects and initiatives through the development of key milestones, project plans. Responsible for organizing, distributing, and managing agendas, deliverables, action plans, project plans.
• In coordination with central finance, develops the budget for programs/providers that support our Joint Venture Hospital.
• Manages the internal business approval process for physician recruitment in Baylor Medicine.
• Develops comprehensive business plans for strategic growth initiatives.
• Analyzes Physician Group Practice data.
• Analysis of key market and industry trends.
• Prepares and develops presentations for Executive Leadership.
• Supports function for various Strategic Committees.
• Manages all BCM wide data requests for OPTUM market advantage (market analytics tool).
Manages the internal business approval process for Baylor Medicine provider recruitment:
• Accountable for managing action items and processes required for all programs and recruits that come through provider approval process.
• Coordinates with individual department leaders to facilitate approval process for provider recruitment.
• Coordinates with central finance team on provider proforma inputs.
• Coordinates communication with Joint Venture hospital finance team.
• Develops and provides quarterly recruitment updates with financial impact to both BCM and Joint Venture Hospital.
• Develops and manages annual BCM recruitment plan.
• Tracks provider recruitment plan status.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Four years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree.
- Proficient in Excel.
- Proficient in PowerPoint.
