Under the general supervision of the Director , ICEC, the Senior Analyst is responsible for managing and coordinating projects arising from the First Nations University of Canada strategic plan and other initiatives of the Institution. The Senior Analyst provides research, analysis, writing and project management expertise in the preparation and development of plans, projects, and provides support in the area of issues management.

Duties and Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have an Undergraduate Degree, Masters degree preferably, in Education or Business and Public Administration and five to ten years related policy, program/project oversight and delivery of professional development experience.

The Senior Analyst will be expected to:
Provide support to ensure the development and maintenance of policies, contracts, proposals, processes, and associated programs to reflect priorities of the ICEC strategic goals as well as initiatives related to operational and reporting requirements.

Contribute to strategic planning, policy development and operational process by ensuring research, data and information is sufficiently rigorous and comprehensive to support the development of viable strategic and operational plans.

Participate in the preparation and development of the Centre’s strategic and operational plans, including business clients stakeholder consultation and preparing and writing sections of strategic planning documents.

Support the Director by maintaining an overview of initiatives across the organization to identify synergies, opportunities and overload.

Review and analyze ICEC’s business and administration processes and recommend changes/revisions/additions where required.

Act as liaison with clients to ensure project success.

Track the progress of all new and current projects/programs and processes arising from the ICEC’s strategic and operational planning process.

Identify develop, implement, and provide ongoing project and program management support for innovation projects and other initiatives required by ICEC.

Manage projects and provide advice in allocation of staff resources and prioritizing of staff workloads.


The salary range for this position is $63,466.00 – $88,853.00/yr.
