The Professional Development Institute (PDI) of the University of Ottawa has been in the business of providing recognized career learning for over 40 years. Position Purpose:
Reporting to the Associate Director, the incumbent ensures planning, organization, execution and continual improvement regarding effective delivery of specific programming at the University of Ottawa Professional Development Institute. Develops plans and deliverables based on strategies to achieve program objectives and promote service excellence. Ensures strong collaboration among institute program staff, external clients and consultants. Implements processes and procedures to optimize resources that further the success of the institute’s professional development services.

If this is a front-line position with responsibilities to interact with students, selected candidates must be rated at the Low Advanced proficiency level or higher for both oral comprehension and reading comprehension in their second official language. The rating is determined by a proficiency test designed by the Official Languages and Bilingualism Institute.
