| Position Overview | The Office of Admissions at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire a Senior Admissions Officer to assist in recruiting and admissions functions, under the direction of the Associate Director, Admissions Recruitment & Outreach. This position is responsible for developing full-time personnel on the recruitment and outreach team and will oversee student employees. This position will be critical in implementing strategic initiatives from Admissions leadership. Work involves, but is not limited to; local travel, counseling and guidance of applicants for admissions, and rendering of directional services to high school and colleges in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, with the possibility of occasional overnight, in and out of state travel. |

| o | Assists with strategic planning for recruitment of first time college, transfer, or graduate prospects. |

| o | Tracks and reports statistical data to measure the effectiveness of activities throughout recruitment territories. |

| o | Reviews academic credentials of students to determine the eligibility of applicants per official university admissions policies and state guidelines. |
