What will you be doing in this role?

The Department of Computational Biomedicine reflects Cedars-Sinai’s commitment to advancing medical discovery and the recognition of the foundational role complex data plays in our research and clinical care. The Senior Adminsistrative Assistant performs a broad range of clerical, administrative and general office activities in order to support the facilitation of administrative workflow within the department.

These responsibilities include:

  • Schedules appointments and meetings; makes arrangements for meetings, conferences, or travel for the department as needed
  • Researches and responds to inquiries and calls, may escalate to other levels of the organization as appropriate
  • Assist with coordinating travel arrangements and collecting data for grant reporting
  • Formats, types, and edits correspondence, documents, memos, reports, meeting minutes and/or presentation materials.
  • Coordinate processes to support the leadership team’s operational and educational improvement plans
  • Orders inventory and arranges for equipment maintenance within department
  • Submits, monitors and tracks invoices, reimbursements, and supply management; may assist with preparation and submission of expense reports
  • May act as or support the Staff Development Advisory Network (SDAN), Safety Representative and/or Kronos editor

Educational Requirements:

  • High School Diploma, required. Bachelor’s Degree desired.

Experience and Skillset:

  • Two (2) years of office and administrative experience, required
  • Experience with Kronos preferred.
