Overview
The Australian National University Service Portfolio supports the strategic priorities of the University by delivering critical services, advice, and infrastructure platforms, driven by a commitment to excellent customer service.
The Residential Experience Division, within the Service Portfolio delivers on whole of University strategic priorities relating to our on-campus student accommodation, providing a safe and welcoming environment to enable students to achieve their highest academic outcomes. The Residential Experience Division works closely with a number of areas across the University including the University Experience Division (student safety, wellbeing support and clinical services), Facilities and Services, academic colleges and service partners such as finance and information technology.
The University’s on-campus accommodation provides different rooms across 18 residences for over 5,500 students. Our Accommodation Services team is the first point of contact for our students who wish to reside on campus, taking initial enquiries about the accommodation facilities, through to the application and acceptance agreements.
The role will be best suited to an experienced individual who thrives in an environment of helping our students and sometimes, their parents or guardians as they seek to apply for on-campus accommodation. The applicant should have the ability to manage high-volumes of phone calls and emails, prioritise workloads and contribute to the development of other team members.
The ideal candidate will be friendly and welcoming, have a strong customer service focus and are excited by the opportunity to support students and stakeholders from a wide variety of different countries, cultures and backgrounds.
