- Commencement Salary: $73,341 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Academic Services Officer to join our
busy UniSA Education Futures team in UniSA College. The successful
candidate will be responsible for providing leadership to the
Academic Services Officers, and for the provision of key student
administration processes for UniSA College Academic Programs. This
includes liaison with key stakeholders, resolution of issues and the
consistent interpretation and application of the University’s
academic administration policies and procedures within the Academic
Unit and UniSA College.

children, young people and adults. Our research contributes to
innovation in education and preparation for learning, supporting and
informing new approaches to practice in the ever-evolving education
sector.
Within UniSA Education Futures,
UniSA College is responsible for the university’s
pre-degree and pathway programs for Australian students, and
implements the University’s Participation Strategy, aimed at
increasing the number of students from a low socio-economic
background enrolled in the University.
Core Responsibilities
- Undertake administration activities
for the College’s programs and courses in consultation with key
stakeholders - Provide mentoring and support to the
team of Academic Services staff in the College - Contribute to the Academic Unit’s
strategic planning and review processes and assessment of its
performance across its programs and courses, research and
consultancy projects and grants - Provide high level advice, guidance
and solutions to Program Directors and academic staff relating to
the College’s timetable - Act as the first point of contact
for and work closely with key stakeholders to communicate and
share relevant information and to resolve complex issues
Essential Skills and Experience
- An undergraduate degree in a
relevant discipline, or demonstrated equivalent skills, knowledge,
and experience - Demonstrated previous experience
working in a senior administrative position in a complex
organisation, involving the provision of advice and
recommendations to senior staff - Highly developed research and
analytical skills and experience in the interpretation and
application of policies and procedures - Proven organisational skills to
manage multiple priorities and projects within tight timelines - High level verbal and interpersonal
skills including experience in liaising with people at all levels
both internal and external to an organisation to deliver quality
customer service
