Security Expert

Your day to day:

Join us and help enhance Vodafone’s security by conducting deliberate and controlled attacks, mirroring the methods employed by potential attackers. 
This position carries the responsibility of providing security analyst expertise, contributing to the success of the VOIS Security Operations Center (SOC), as well as investigating, analysing and accurately triaging alerts in our platforms, coming up with ideas for fine-tuning rules and content ingesting in our platforms.
You should also have a good understanding of business requirements and be able to work with emerging cloud technologies to deliver smooth and seamless business operations.

You will investigate, analyse and triage the alerts, provide support to on-call duties and incident managers, investigate & document events and cases in incident management system and own them until closure.
As specialist, you should be proactively work on alert reduction, contributing to fine-tuning and effort reduction ideas and use available CSOC tools for historical analysis purposes as necessary for detected events. 

With these skills you are a great candidate:

•    Ability to maintain composure under pressure and work calmly during an emergency;
•    5+ years relevant experience in Cyber Security, SOC , SIEM, Event /Alert Analysis, Security Incident investigation and management;
•    Must have an understanding about network and security concepts, SIEM technologies (ArcSight / Splunk / Elastic , ELK ,Sentinel, Google Chronicle  etc.);
•    Must have Industry recognized security certifications like CEH, CCNA Cyber Ops, Security +;
•    Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Engineering or similar;
•    Prior experience in Cyber Security SOC; Prior experience in event analysis and triage.
