About the Job
Swinburne University of Technology is the Administrative Organisation to the Australian Research Council (ARC) Industrial Transformation Training Centre for Surface Engineering for Advanced Materials (SEAM). SEAM was funded for five years in partnership with other universities, research organisations and industry partners with the aim of training early career researchers in an industrial context.
As the SEAM Centre Manger, you will provide key administrative support to enable SEAM to achieve the goals and outcomes as articulated in the Centre proposal. You will coordinate the administrative, operational, financial, logistical and strategic activities of the Centre, across Swinburne University, University of South Australia and RMIT University.
This position is responsible for the SEAM operational activities, such as financial monitoring, governance maintenance and reporting, website maintenance, project management, marketing and communications, and events. You will liaise regularly with staff from Swinburne Research, Research Finance, Human Resources Offices and with staff across RMIT University and University of South Australia.
