The Department
The Student Experience Team sits at the heart of UWL; working collaboratively with colleagues across the university but quite specifically with the Directorate and the Student Union to ensure students have a positive experience throughout their journey.
We play a key part in executing successful inductions and enrolments throughout the year. Provide early interventions and campaigns directly to students to support them to stay on track with their studies. The team also provide bespoke provision for our Visa Holder students.

The Role
To provide a high level of administrative support to the Student Experience Department and to be a professional first point of contact for the department.
The role will play a key role in the smooth running of the department and will support administrative, HR, Finance and Facilities related tasks. Key functions will include preparing and disseminating information concerning the Student Experience Department areas of work, personnel, procedures, inductions, formal occasional and internal news, and dealing with international and external enquires.
The post holder will contribute towards the provision of an effective, efficient and professional quality service within the Student Experience Team; working within the framework of the professional services department and the university’s strategic plans.
The Person
We are looking for an individual who is flexible, proactive and approachable coupled with excellent inter-personal, and communication skills. You will be highly organised and diligent with at least one years’ experience in an administrative role. Excellent IT skills are also essential.
You will need to be able to develop highly effective working relationships with staff and students and ensure the smooth running of all aspects of our department from a student experience perspective.
