As a Scrum Master, you will play a key role in supporting and empowering agile teams to deliver meaningful solutions efficiently. You will Think Fast by anticipating and removing obstacles, Work it Together by nurturing collaboration and team trust, and Make the Hard Call by guiding teams through challenges with clarity and care.You will be a trusted facilitator, helping teams self-organize, align with sprint goals, and continuously improve their processes. Working alongside the Product Owner and business leaders, you will foster transparency, protect teams from distractions, and create a safe, supportive environment where every team member can thrive.What You Will Be Doing:

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring an inclusive and engaging process.
  • Coach and mentor teams, building confidence in agile principles and best practices.
  • Remove obstacles and external distractions, creating a supportive and focused environment.
  • Encourage cross-team collaboration, strengthen communication, knowledge-sharing, and team relationships.
  • Analyze flow metrics (cycle time, flow efficiency, cumulative flow) to provide meaningful insights that drive improvement.
  • Align teams with leadership, ensuring clarity of shared goals and expectations.
  • Partner with other Scrum Masters to enhance agile adoption and support a culture of continuous learning.
  • Proactively manage risks and dependencies, guiding teams through challenges with empathy and problem-solving.
  • Champion a culture of inclusion, agility, and shared success across teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 4+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, leading agile teams with a collaborative approach.
  • Agile Certification (CSM, PSM I/II, SAFe, or ProKanban).
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and agile reporting tools to support transparency and team visibility.
  • Strong problem-solving and facilitation skills, with the ability to create a positive, team-centered environment.
  • Ability to adapt quickly, balance multiple priorities, and guide teams through evolving needs with warmth and confidence.

Additional InformationFortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $90,000 USD – $143,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
