  • Lead the scrum team in using Agile methodology and scrum practices
  • Experience in JIRA tool mandatory (Rally knowledge good to have)
  • Helping the product owner and development team to achieve customer satisfaction
  • Lead the scrum and development teams in self-organization
  • Remove impediments and coach the scrum team on removing impediments
  • Help the scrum and development teams to identify and fill in blanks in the Agile framework
  • Resolve conflicts and issues that occur
  • Help the scrum team achieve higher levels of scrum maturity

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Facilitating daily standups, sprint planning meetings, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Helping the Product Owner manage the product backlog effectively.
  • Removing any impediments or blockers that are hindering the team’s progress.
  • Ensuring the team follows Scrum principles and practices.
  • Shielding the team from external distractions and interruptions.
  • Coaching the team on self-organizing to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks. ‍
  • Promoting a collaborative and transparent team environment.
  • Liaising with stakeholders to improve visibility and clarity about the team’s work.
  • Leveraging Agile tools to encourage and support continuous learning and improvement within the team.
  • Resolving conflicts within the team and promoting constructive disagreement.

Required Skills:

  • Prior experience on a scrum team
  • Knowledgeable in techniques to fill in gaps in the scrum
  • Ability to determine what is scrum and what is not
  • Experience with successful Agile techniques
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment
