The Scholarship was established in 2022 and is funded by the Scott family, Margaret, Andy, Rhonda and Julie, who share a passion for higher education as a means to support individual and community aspirations.

The main purpose of the Scholarship is to assist students who are the first member of their immediate family to attend university and who, because of financial hardship, may not otherwise be able to undertake a university degree.
