Department Summary The Office of the Dean in the School of Education is located on the second floor of DAL 1. The school serves over 400 students who are preparing for teacher certification at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
Position Summary The Office of the Dean in the School of Education is hiring students to complete some online development of several projects on the Canvas Platform. This job can be done remotely. A computer is required.
EXAMPLES OF WORK:

  • Uploading test questions.
  • Creating various multiple choice tests from provided questions.
  • Organizing the questions by competencies so reports can be run.

Minimum Qualifications Currently enrolled UNT Dallas, UNT Dallas College of Law, HSC or UNT student in good standing and making satisfactory progress toward completion of a degree or certification program. Applicants must possess the following:

  • Must qualify as work-study eligible.
  • Excellent customer service skills, as well as effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office computer applications (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Working knowledge of Canvas Learning Platform
  • Some knowledge of office practices and procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to comprehend and follow oral and written instructions accurately.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ease in relating to people from varying educational, cultural and social backgrounds.
  • Responsible, reliable, and punctual.
  • Ability to learn assigned tasks readily, to adhere to prescribed routines, and to develop some skill in the operation of common office equipment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Non-Education Major
  • Reading and Writing in Spanish is a plus, not required
  • Self-motivated to work at your own pace
Required License / Registration / Certification
Work Schedule Maximum 20 hour per week based on academic schedule.
