Sanitation Worker

$18.50/hour Whitby, ON

My client in the pharmaceutical industry in Whitby, ON is seeking sanitation workers to join their growing team- Full time opportunity!

Job Description:

Clean stainless-steel drums, and all plastic containers used for packaging operations.

Clean portable equipment / equipment parts for Packaging as per SOPs.

Clean all purified water and product transfer hoses as per SOP’s

Wash all laundry items as required.

Clean all pallets used in GMP areas of the facility.

Retrieve cleaning agents from storage and manage the inventory of these agents.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

MUST HAVE 1: Experience working with machine cleaning

MUST HAVE 2: Computer knowledge and ability to read/write in English

MUST HAVE 3: Experience working with GMP’s or previous similar experience (previous pharma/cosmetics/food experience)

Work Environment/ Shift

Clean manufacturing environment

No dust, no smells, will be required to wear gown

Very organized, 30-40 people on team.

3 Months on Nights:10:30pm- 6:00am (training)

WILL SWITCH TO DAY SHIFT: 6:00am-2:30pm
