Position Overview   

The Technical Program Manager of Trust Risk and Compliance will help our Trust Risk and Compliance management teams deliver our vision by guiding collaborative, cross-organizational, programs. This individual will report directly to the Director of Trust Risk and Compliance and should be passionate about helping teams identify and achieve successful outcomes. The role requires a strategic thinker who can work cross-functionally to ensure our products and operations meet the highest standards of security and user trust.  This role can be remote, hybrid or in-office.

Responsibilities

  • Strategy and Roadmap Development: Help develop and maintain program strategies, roadmaps, and rhythms in support of Autodesk’s product portfolio and business strategy. Ensuring alignment with overall business goals and Trust standards. 

  • Prioritization and Planning: Engage with Trust, engineering, product, and other program managers to prioritize Trust initiative while balancing security needs with overall Autodesk strategy. 

  • Delivery: Work with the Trust Risk and Compliance leadership to establish clear delivery plans based on strategies. Create alignment on cross organization initiatives through outcome driven planning, dependency management and impediment removal. 

  • Communications: Develop holistic communications plans and for delivering status communications and updates in scalable way that minimizes friction. Support the communication of program health, initiatives and achievements to Autodesk teams and divisional leadership 

  • Facilitation: Facilitate fact-based, data-driven decision-making with the appropriate domain expertise and program owners. 

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback and identify areas of program improvement. Bring results to program leaders in an actionable manner. 

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in a technical program manager capacity or similar role, with 4+ years involving a focus on security, risk, or compliance. 

  • Strong understanding of one or more Trust (security, privacy, resilience, responsible AI) principles. 

  • Moderate understanding of compliance frameworks (e.g. SOC 2 and ISO 27001) and audit activities.  

  • Basic understanding of cloud hosting, infrastructure technologies, SaaS and cloud services (e.g. AWS, Microsoft). 

  • Experience managing different company stakeholders, from technical teams to business leaders, product managers and designers 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and drive consensus across diverse stakeholders. 

  • Proven track record of delivering successful projects on time and within scope. 

  • Demonstrated experience communicating and reporting program health, driving initiatives and facilitating the delivery of on-time results

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically

  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards related to security use cases 

  • Experience using tooling to scale programs and solutions (e.g. Jira, Atlassian, SharePoint, various GRC platforms, etc.) 

  • Experience in the software or technology industry

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment

  • Certifications such as PMP, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, or similar

  • Knowledge of cloud security, data privacy, and threat detection/prevention technologies

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $129,900 and $210,100. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
