The Office of the American Secretary, The Rhodes Trust awards 32 exceptional American young scholars to study for a degree at Oxford University in England.
Rhodes Scholars can choose to receive a graduate degree or a second bachelor’s degree at Oxford. Scholars come from all over the United States to learn and develop leadership and commitment to service.
Eligibility & Requirements
At least 18 but under 24 years of age.
Completion of a bachelor’s degree before October 1 in the year following election.
Scholars must enroll in a program leading to a degree at Oxford University.
Personal statement.
Endorsement of his or her college or university.
5-8 letters of recommendation; 4 must be from college or graduate
school instructors.
