Résumé du poste

Le responsable de la formation médicale élabore un plan stratégique et tactique de formation médicale, en veillant à ce que les activités d’apprentissage soient développées avec succès en fonction des besoins des professionnels de la santé et alignées sur les objectifs de l’entreprise. Le responsable de la formation médicale soutient les programmes agréés (CHE) et non agréés (OLA) élaborés et mis en œuvre par et pour les professionnels de la santé et d’autres collaborateurs concernés afin de contribuer à une expérience d’apprentissage qui déclenche un changement de pratique en vue d’optimiser les soins aux patients.Notre organisation suit une structure de travail hybride où les employés peuvent travailler à distance ou au bureau 50 % du temps.

Responsabilité principales

  • Élaborer des objectifs de formation médicale à l’échelle du département, alignés sur les objectifs de l’entreprise, et assurer la communication et l’alignement avec toutes les parties prenantes internes de BMS.
  • Excellence en matière d’exécution : fournir des orientations spécifiques et des communications claires aux parties prenantes pour des plans d’exécution efficaces et optimaux, alignés sur les rôles et responsabilités des fonctions transversales sur le terrain.
  • Veiller à ce qu’une combinaison appropriée de formats et de canaux de formation (par exemple, F2F, Digital, e-learning, webinaires, etc.) soit intégrée dans le plan de formation médicale.
  • Participation et contribution aux réunions de l’équipe de marque dans tous les domaines thérapeutiques, le cas échéant.
  • Partager et analyser les mesures des résultats pour les initiatives de base, pour l’excellence de l’exécution sur le terrain afin d’évaluer l’impacte des interventions CHE/CE/CPD, le changement de comportement et l’amélioration de la performance.
  • Établir et maintenir des partenariats avec des organismes d’accréditation, des organisations de soins de santé et des universités dans tout le Canada.
  • Démontrer une connaissance complète et une conformité à toutes les exigences et pratiques réglementaires appropriées, y compris, mais sans s’y limiter, les lois fédérales, provinciales et industrielles, ainsi que toutes les politiques de BMS, y compris le code de déontologie de Médecine innovante Canada, et veiller à ce que tous les membres du département en soient également conscients et s’y conforment.
  • Gérer le budget et en être responsable (y compris le CHE, les voyages, la formation, etc.).

Qualification et expérience

  • Expertise dans le domaine de la formation des adultes, des éléments essentiels de la FMC
  • Faire preuve de créativité et d’une capacité de réflexion stratégique.

  • Expérience au sein d’une société d’IMC, ventes et marketing pharmaceutiques un atout
  • Au moins deux ans d’expérience en matière de FMC dans le secteur pharmaceutique
  • Conformément aux lignes directrices de l’IMC, “les employés membres dont la fonction inclut la responsabilité du développement et de la conception de l’éducation à la santé continue (ESC), ainsi que les autres professionnels concernés, doivent suivre un cours certifié de formation à l’ESC avant d’assumer la responsabilité de l’activité ESC ou dans l’année qui suit”.

Position Summary

The Medical Education Manager creates a strategic and tactical medical education plan, ensuring that Learning Activities are successfully developed based on Health Care Professionals’ needs and aligned to company objectives. The Medical Education Manager supports accredited (CHE) and unaccredited (OLAs) programs developed and delivered by and for Health Care Professionals and other relevant collaborators to contribute to a learning experience that triggers practice change to optimize patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop department-wide medical education objectives aligned with the business objectives and ensure communication and alignment with all internal BMS stakeholders.
  • Execution excellence: provide specific guidance and clear communications to stakeholders for impactful and optimal execution plans, aligned with cross function in field level roles and responsibilities.
  • Responsible for ensuring an appropriate mix of educational formats and channels (e.g., F2F, Digital, e-learning, webinars, etc.) are integrated within the medical education plan.
  • Participation and contribution to Brand Team meetings across all therapeutic areas as appropriate
  • Share and analyze outcome metrics for core initiatives, for infield execution excellence to assess the impact of the CHE/CE/CPD interventions, behavior change and performance improvement
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with accrediting bodies, healthcare organizations and universities throughout Canada
  • Demonstrate full knowledge of and compliance with all appropriate regulatory requirements& practices including but not limited to Federal, Provincial and Industry statutes as well as all BMS policies, including the Innovative Medicine Canada Code of Ethical Practice and ensure that all members of the department are also aware and compliant.
  • Manage and be accountable for the budget (including CHE, travel, training, etc.)

Qualifications & Experience

  • Expertise in adult education, CME essentials

  • As per IMC guidelines “Member employees whose job function includes responsibility for Continued Health Education (CHE) development and design as well as other relevant professionals must take a certified course in CHE training prior to or within one year of attaining responsibility for CHE activity.”
