Description

 

Working with a high degree of independence, to oversee projects within the laboratory and to assume responsibility for the day to day operation of lab activities. To collect, enter, summarize, analyze and interpret data. To contribute significantly to the planning/design of studies and to help develop long or short term goals.

Will pursue ongoing projects to identify the mechanism of tumor progression and metastasis as well as to develop targeted therapy. These projects will focus on tumor microenvironment and metastasis and targeted therapy in animal models and investigate the underlying mechanisms of interaction between tumor and microenvironment during tumor metastasis. Also, be involved in other ongoing projects in the field of cancer genetics and immunology.

 Annual Salary Range: $47,486.40 – $85,000.00

 

Qualifications

 

Doctorate in a related field OR Master’s degree in a related field and two (2) years of related experience OR Bachelor s degree in related field and four (4) years of related experience OR Associate’s degree in related field and six (6) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. 

Highly motivated individuals with a Ph.D. degree in immunology, and cancer biology, or cancer stem cells, as well as the working experience are strongly encouraged to apply.  

Able to work in a group/team environment while also be able to work independently, preferred.
