Position Summary

The Tannishtha Reya Lab is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual who possess experience that can help with daily lab operations. This position reports to Tannishtha Reya, Professor of Physiology and Cellular Biophysics and Principal Investigator in the Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center. Subject to business needs, we may support flexible and hybrid work arrangements. Options will be discussed during the interview process.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Performs research activities in collaboration with internal/external personnel to complete science-based projects.
• Works on laboratory experiments/projects of moderate scope to resolve a variety of issues.
• Normally receives general instructions while making detailed observations, analyzing data, and interpreting results according to laboratory procedures.
• Responsible for mentoring junior lab members.
• Assist in developing new methods and technologies for project advancement and participate in scientific journals.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree and at least one year experience, or Bachelor’s degree and at least three years of related experience or equivalent in education, training, and experience.
