GENERAL REQUISITION INFORMATION

Vaccination Requirement	The University of Nebraska Medicine Center (UNMC) requires COVID-19 vaccinations for all students, staff, and faculty. All employees must be fully vaccinated unless they have requested and been approved for an exemption based on a recognized medical reason, a sincerely held religious belief, or a pre-approved, 100% remote work agreement. Fully vaccinated means having received one dose of a single dose COVID-19 vaccine (Johnson & Johnson) or both doses of a two-dose COVID-19 vaccination series (Moderna and Pfizer). Non-faculty new hires, rehires and transfers with no approved exemption who fail to comply with this policy will be separated.

Position Summary	Supports the research goals of the Division of Neonatology in the Department of Pediatrics at UNMC. Will support clinical research efforts including specimen collection and maintenance of research databases. Additionally, in the laboratory will perform cell culture, animal husbandry, dissection and analyses on cultured cells and tissues.

Experience with mammalian tissue culture, cell counting and knowledge of sterile technique. Experience in rodent handling and care.
