Summary

Seeking a Research Technician to work in experimental neurophysiology laboratory to assist with mouse breeding, genotyping, surgical implantation of electrodes for videoEEG recordings, behavioral analysis of mice under various conditions using computer assisted algorithms, administration of antiepileptic drugs during chronic studies.

Job Duties

• Assists with maintenance of breeding colony, records and experimental protocols.
• Orders routine laboratory reagents.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Basic Science or related field. Four years of related experience may substitute for degree requirement.
• No experience required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Laboratory experience handling and breeding mice.
• Experience collecting and analyzing electrophysiological and behavioral data.
