(HE04) $66,260 to $72,627 per annum plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation applies.

Fixed term, part time position available immediately.

The Technical Services team provide operational support across the Faculty relating to laboratory management, Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSW), Infrastructure support, teaching and shared laboratory support and laboratory materials receipt and distribution.

Working under general direction, the Research Support Officer delivers high quality services in the management and coordination of Clinic Research Facility operations and general laboratory operations liaising with researchers and faculty support service to enhance FHMS research activities.

To be successful you will need: 

• Demonstrated experience in working in a research laboratory and/or the routine maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Experience or broad knowledge in technical or administrative fields.
• Ability to self-motivate and work autonomously without close supervision.
• Demonstrated high level verbal, written and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise and develop key relationships with a diverse range of staff and students.
• Demonstrated ability to promote the organisational values of integrity, respect, collegiality, excellence and discovery, and a commitment to positively comply with the associated behaviour expectations.
