Med-Ophthalmology – Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh – (22008453)

The incumbent will perform experiments for the PI in the fields of cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, and includes small animal handling. Duties will included dissecting animal and human tissues, culturing cells, working with mice, histology, flow cytometry, immunostaining, real time PCR, Western blotting, data collection and entry, and ordering supplies. Keeping complete and clearly understandable records is required.

Associate degree, Baccalaureate preferred. Classes and laboratory experience in biology and/or chemistry related topics. Desirable experiences: tissue culture, small animal handling, Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, RT-PCR, PCR, and DNA and protein gels.
