Med-Neurology – Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh – (22008534)
The Research Scientist position will investigate white matter injury after brain ischemia. The employee will design the experiment independently and perform some key experiments such as animal model of cerebral ischemia, behavioral tests, and primary culture of astrocyte and oligodendrocytes. The employee will be responsible for data analysis, writing manuscripts, reviewing others’ manuscripts/grant applications, and supervising/training new lab members.
This job also requires independent ability to analyze data, design experiments, and prepare manuscripts. 2-3 years’ experience with performing animal surgery.
