Summary: There is an open call for one (1) Research Scholarship (“Bolsa de Investigação”) at Instituto de Telecomunicações, in the scope of the Project QUANTAGENOMICS – QuantERA/0001/2021. This project is funded by FCT/MEC through national funds.

Work Objectives: The selected candidate will contribute to the design and implementation of a Quantum Key Distribution management layer/service capable of retrieve cryptographic keys from a physical layer and distribute them from different applications.

Place of work: The work will be developed at the premises of Instituto de Telecomunicações at University of Aveiro, under the supervision of Prof. Armando Pinto.

Duration: 6 months, with the possibility of renewal. Start date: November 2022 or soon thereafter.
