Constructs data collection instruments and crafts promotional materials. Troubleshoots data and manages database. Assists with screening, recruitment, and enrollment of study participants. Performs budgetary and purchasing functions.

Essential Functions The Department of Bioengineering is seeking a Research Operations Manager in the Kozai Lab. The Operations Manager will have the responsibility of assisting the department in the managing day-by-day operations of a Bruker 2pPlus DL system and accounting of research projects, service, training, dissemination, advising on budgetary manners, managing schedules, and administration located at the Center for Biotechnology and Bioengineering. The Operations Manager will also collect copies of approved animal protocols and ensure that all experiments follow their protocols accordingly. Lastly, the Operations Manager will assist in progress reports for the system and contribute to the dissemination of scientific findings.
Physical Effort The position is not sedentary. The incumbent must stand and walk, but not for extended periods of time. May need to lift up to 50 lbs. Physical exertion may be required to move equipment/computers. Dexterity is needed to use computers and operate equipment.
