Research Laboratory Technologist, Faculty of Dentistry

• Work with manager to ensure full lab functionality, safety and maintenance of equipment and operations
• Provide support and assistance to PIs, research staff and students on experiments and laboratory operation related matters when required
• Implement and monitor safety in laboratory practices and ensure compliance to safety regulations 
• Co-ordinate and supervise vendors performing maintenance and repairs of research lab equipment and facilities
• Process laboratory procurement and payment 
• Perform as Point-of-Contact for PIs and researchers for any lab emergencies and urgent matters
• Any other relevant duties as assigned by PIs and manager

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Life Sciences, Biological Sciences or related field from a reputable institution
• Meticulous in record and inventory keeping and excellent organizational skills
• Able to work proactively and responsibly and able to work in a team
• Prior research laboratory experience required
• Prior laboratory safety knowledge will be an advantage 
• Effective communication skills in English (verbal and written)
