Our Rolls-Royce sponsored University Technology Centre for Computational Engineering is seeking to strengthen its team in the field of deep learning and artificial intelligence.  The work will involve the application of the latest technologies to the problems of advanced gas turbine design in close collaboration with staff at Rolls-Royce. 

To be successful you will have a PhD* or equivalent professional qualifications and experience in Computer Science or Engineering and a background in the development of complex computational systems as applied to some aspect of air vehicle design. Experience with advanced geometry editing methods, convolution neural networks, geometrical deep learning or generative adversarial networks would be an advantage. 

The position will be offered on a full-time basis until 31/05/2023 which is dependent on funding

The title of Research Fellow will be applied upon successful completion of the PhD. Prior to the qualification being awarded the title of Senior Research Assistant will be given.
