Research Fellow (Science or Engineering)

The Emerging nanoscience Research Institute (EnRI) invites applications for the position of Research Fellow. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Develop and fabricate micro devices with good device performance and yield that meet project requirement

• Resolve fabrication process problems and optimise processes to achieve structural and electrical requirement by project specification

• Perform design of experiment, interpretation and analysis of data acquired

• Ensure service and maintenance are carried out for the cleanroom wafer processing and support equipment

• Establish and ensure all cleanroom operation fulfil safety protocol

• Annual review of risk assessment for equipment operation, gas and chemical usage

Job Requirements: 

• PhD in Science or Engineering

• Strong technical knowledge and experience in micro-fabrication and cleanroom operation

• Post degree working experience in wafer fabrication foundry is preferred

• Understanding in failure analysis methodology is an added advantage

• Self-motivated with keen attitude in learning and research

• Proactive, well organised, and able to work independently

• Team player in multi-disciplinary work with good communication skills
