Research Fellow (RF and Antenna Designer)

Job Description

We are looking for research fellows who are experienced in the research area of RF circuits and systems, and microwave and millimeter-wave antenna and array design. The selected incumbent is expected to 

•    You are expected to conduct the design, analysis and testing of RF circuits and sub-systems, and microwave and millimeter-wave antennas and arrays.
•    You are expected to provide technical expertise in RF circuits and systems, millimeter-wave and THz antennas design, studies on the novel beam-forming network with compact configuration and antenna fabrication based on new materials and new processes.
•    You are expected to take responsibility for the concept, design, analysis, modeling and initial simulation verification of the RF circuits and subsystems, microwave and millimeter-wave antennas and arrays.
•    You are expected to assist with the development of THz antenna arrays testing system when applicable.
•    You are expected to provide support to a team of engineers in solving multi-disciplinary problems, including preparation of documentation and presentation of results of analyses/testing to peers and customers. 

Qualifications

•    Possess a PhD Degree in Electronic Engineering or related field specialization in RF and antenna design. 
•    Knowledge and experiences in RF and EM theory, wideband antenna design, millimeter-wave antennas, THz technology, etc.
•    Minimum 4-year practical experiences in the design, analysis and testing of RF circuits and antennas in millimeter-wave and THz communication systems.
•    Able to independently build RF circuits and antenna arrays.
•    Possess computer skills utilizing EM simulation tools: Ansoft HFSS, CST, etc.
•    Technical proposal writing and presentation skills.
•    Able to plan and organize well and adhere to deadlines.
•    Be able to communicate and work effectively in a team. 
•    Open to Fixed Term Contract
