The Monash Epworth Rehabilitation Research Centre is a world-leading centre that conducts research investigating outcomes and the effectiveness of interventions for individuals with brain injury or orthopaedic injury sustained as a result of trauma, aiming to maximise functional, psychological and social outcomes. The Opportunity
The Research Fellow will provide a variety of high-quality research services to support the operations of the Monash-Epworth Rehabilitation Research Centre in conducting the longitudinal head injury outcome study and other ongoing research projects.
The Research Fellow will have the opportunity to be involved in the coordination, conduct and publication of studies that require clinical interviewing, cognitive assessment and follow-up of patients with traumatic brain injury, data entry and data analysis. The successful applicant will also write grant applications and research papers, conduct literature reviews, and supervise or co-supervise honours students.
You will have:
- A doctoral qualification in the relevant discipline (i.e., Neuropsychology) or a closely related field
- A track record of refereed research publications
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to manage junior staff or supervise students
- Experience administering neuropsychological tests for the brain injury population
This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
