The Opportunity

The EPIC Research Unit (Equity, Primary care, Implementation and Community (EPIC) Research Centre – Primary and Allied Health Care ) is a team of highly experienced primary care researchers who are experts in real-world implementation and translation of evidence-based innovations into policy and practice.

Equity is a strong focus of the work we do and the Research Fellow (Primary Care) will ideally have expertise working with priority populations in primary care and health services.

This position will be responsible for qualitative data analysis, writing academic papers and supporting grant applications across a number of research projects.

We are seeking someone with a doctoral qualification in the relevant discipline area or equivalent qualifications and research experience. It is expected that the Research Fellow will also have a demonstrated ability in qualitative data collection and analysis.

This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated. Otherwise we are happy to support clinician-researchers with a fractional appointment to allow them to continue in their clinical work (general practice, primary care or community health).

Where the role and service delivery model of the work area allows, hybrid work allows you to divide your work time between working onsite and working from home.

At Monash University, we are committed to being a Child Safe organisation. This position at the University will require the incumbent to hold a valid Working with Children Check.

Your application must address the selection criteria. Please refer to  “How to apply for Monash Jobs “.

We encourage applications from First Nations people, culturally and linguistically diverse people, people with disabilities, neurodiverse people, and people of all genders, sexualities and age groups.

Join us in our commitment to ensuring a better future for ourselves and for the communities in which we study, work, live and engage – #ChangeIt with us.
